- Bikely - Sharing Bike Routes over the internet. Find routes, enter and save routes. Great for finding roads that others have found useful. Also supports GPX to turn maps into GPS files.
- Southeastern Cycling has a great Rides Page helping you find an appropriate ride on the day you can go. They also have one of the best map pages that I've found.
- The Southern Bicycle League (SBL) has a Ride Calendar for a wide variety of rides.
- Midtown/Downtown Bicycle Suitability Map - Good map for good routes in Midtown/Downtown. Also has good commuting tips.
- Commuting Bike Trains and Bike Pools - Why wait until May to join a group of bike commuters?
Intown Groups
- Aurora Cycling - Yahoo Group riding out of Aurora Coffee in Virginia-Highland. Sponsors a 8AM Sunday morning ride but also a good place to find a partner for rides on other days.
- Atlanta Intown Touring - This group picks a topic and then explores it by bike. Recent ride was a Cemetery ride for Halloween. My first ride with the group wasn't a tour, but ABC's Office Move.
- Faster Mustache - Progressive group of cyclists: Forum and Local News.
Cycling Advocacy
- Atlanta Bicycle Campaign - one of Atlanta's oldest and largest cycling advocacy groups. Atlanta's home of the nationally recognized Effective Cycling Classes.
- Commuter Rewards - Get paid for choosing an alternative form of commuting. Sponsored by Clean Air Campaign and Midtown Alliance.
- Georgia Bikes - Cycling Advocacy, Events and News. This is where you can get your "Share the Road" license plate.
- Critical Mass - Atlanta's chapter of the world-wide organization. Rides on the last Friday of each month out of Woodruff Park in a show of solidarity with other cities who also ride on this day.
- SBL Forum for Cycling Advocacy - hear about and discuss the latest happenings.
